Great library with a wealth of resources and activities. The top level boasts newspapers/magazines, a book club nook, a teen section and plenty of space to sit and read. The main floor has CDs/DVDs that can be checked out and a children's section with interactive games/activities and computers. The employees are helpful and the environment is very friendly. We spent 3 hours on a rainy Saturday morning here and the time flew by!

Beautiful library that has 2 floors full of so much to see. I love the kids zone! The play area is colorful, well organized, and clean. They offer many programs for all ages. This library is perfect to come and enjoy some quiet time and have your kids enjoy what they have to offer!

They do have great books for kids. Nice place fo your children to come read, the playground in the back is nice for the littles. As far as the staff, I can take them or leave them. One blonde (bleached) lady told me I had to "watch my kid". Certain people think they're the police, when they should mind their own business. I checked her so fast, it's the library what are they gonna do? Respect people's cultures and how they choose to parent. I don't put my child on a leash. Children are entitled to their space and to walk around, within visual distance of their parents of course. This world is definitely not for paranoid folks. Take your anxiety meds lady. I don't intimidate, so be seeing ya!

Horrible ... I came to the second floor, so noisy, children talking, people talking and the staff is doing nothing! There is a very small confined area close to the main street with sounds of cars that is noise free.

This is a nice library and is usually quiet enough to work, though sometimes people talk or school kids use the meeting rooms to do non-studious activities. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Great place to do work or just chill.

Love the concert in the park adjacent to the library. Amazing entertainment provided by The Village of Oak Lawn free of charge. Tonight was Five Guys Named Moe. Best way to spend a Sunday evening and obviously a lot of people felt the same way because it was jam-packed. Everyone was respectful and there to have a good time.

Oak Lawn Library is great! I take my granddaughter there alot, and enjoy the Oak Lawn events that they have.
